In the Hawai’ian language, Lokomaika`i is an extension of aloha and love. It means ‘to always act with generosity and kindness toward others’.
This is a quality of Compassion and Open-heartedness, where we place ourselves in the Field of Ever-Expanding Good with open arms and wonder.
“No kind action ever stops with itself. One kind action leads to another. Good example is followed. A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. The greatest work that kindness does to others is that it makes them kind themselves.” Amelia Erhart
How empowering to send out our roots in all directions. To feel the ripples of Goodness, to watch our plant of Kindness create the orchard that is endless, and rich in its fruit of Kindness.
Pause now for a moment, and Breathe into that image. Gaze out in every direction, trees waving and laughing, bowing to us, acknowledging our Kindness, fragrant and sweet.
Now just land on the word: Kindness. Speak the word, and allow it to roll off your tongue. Move the vibration of the word from your throat down to your heart.
Expand it now into the 10 foot heart field that surrounds you, pulsating out in all directions, generating the body’s most powerful and most extensive rhythmic electromagnetic field. Compared to the electromagnetic field produced by the brain, the electrical component of the heart’s field is about 60 times greater in amplitude, and permeates every cell in the body.
Right Here … and Right Now … in this Field of Miracles and rippling Goodness … Embody Kindness!
My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness.
Dalai Lama
In all ways…may we think, speak and act from Kindness. May Kindness become our religion!
Peace & Blessings,
Dr. Patricia
